Washington, D.C. Trip

Students have the opportunity to join their classmates on a trip to Washington, D.C. at the conclusion of their 8th grade year. On this trip, students will immerse themselves in history and learn from experienced tour guides in our nation's capital. Sites visited include: the U.S. Capitol Building, Mount Vernon, Arlington National Cemetery, Ford's Theatre, National Archives, Air and Space Museum, American History Museum, Natural History Museum, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam War Memorial, Korean War Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, Roosevelt Memorial, Marine Memorial, World War II Memorial, National Holocaust Museum, Pentagon 9/11 Memorial, National Cathedral, and a photo stop at the White House.

The 2019 trip will depart on Wednesday, June 12. We will return to CJHS on Sunday, June 16.
