What is Xello?

Xello is a software used for students to complete their Educational Development Plan (EDP). Students in grades 7-12 will complete a portion of their EDP annually to have a completed portfolio in 12th grade prior to graduation. EDP completion is mandated by the State of Michigan, Link to MDE site.

Students complete assessments to learn more about their learning style, career interests, and possible post secondary education options. Xello has so many features for students to explore. While we have them log in as a class once a year, they are welcome to log in at any time to make changes or to do additional research. If your student has trouble getting logged in, they can contact their counselor.

Work Permits

Xello is an excellent career exploration website and highly recommended for students who are unsure of their strengths and interests. Students have the opportunity to complete several interest inventories which link results to potential careers. Students have access to job descriptions, average earnings, Michigan employment outlook, training program information, and links to colleges and universities that offer majors in a specific field are provided.
